Skin Tightening

This non-ablative treatment is performed using a 1064 nm ND:YAG Laser to effectively treat mild scars, wrinkles and skin laxity with no down time.

Due to its longer wavelength, the laser is able to bypass the epidermal melanin more efficiently making it safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types.

The laser beam penetrates into the deep dermis where it deposits enough heat (41-43 degrees celsius) to produce a heat-induced injury. This bulk heating stimulates an inflammatory and healing response which results in the activation of dermal fibroblasts and collagen remodeling. Results will appear gradually over several months as collagen is produced.

For optimal improvement, a series of 6 treatments are recommended and scheduled at 4 week intervals. As we age our body produces less and less collagen on its own, so it’s important to continue having skin tightening treatments every 6 months after your initial series to maintain your results.
